Course Work

The College of Journalism and Communication's public relations program at the University of Florida provided me many opportunities to create public relations materials for theoretical clients. Here is a selection of my case studies and campaigns produced while at the University of Florida's College of Journalism and Communications.

Campaigns Capstone

The capstone course for UF's Public Relations major centers around the development of a campaign for a chosen client.

Under the guidance of Mickey Nall my team developed a campaign around the return to a more normal football season in 2021 with both at home and at school events for male alumni and male students, our primary stakeholders for Coke Zero.

PR Strategy

In my public relations strategy class, my team was tasked with putting together a strategic plan for Alachua Conservation Trust (ACT), a nonprofit organization.

ACT is one of five local nonprofits that receive proceeds from the annual Hogtown Craft Beer Festival. After a thorough situational analysis, we adapted the event to meet the COVID-19 crisis as an online event.

Corporate Reputation

For our corporate reputation course with Pat Ford we were asked to draft a case study on an ongoing crisis that challenged a company's reputation.

My team chose to work on Walmart and the decisions made after the El Paso shooting.

Crisis Communications

As our final project for crisis communication with Pat Ford we were asked to choose an organization in crisis. We chose the Italian Tourism Ministry as Venice continues to deal with flooding for our assignment.
